Join us as a Maintenance Technician and you’ll become part the leading kitchen specialist in Europe.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to a Maintenance Shift Leader, you’ll be kept busy responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance. You’ll get involved with the provision and co-ordination of engineering project support and the maintenance of assembly/process machinery, plus general site facilities such as heating and lighting. You’ll make sure the working environment is of a high standard and that we adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments and any accident investigations) and provide full support with root cause analysis on all major breakdowns.
How you will qualify for the role
You should be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities and a good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, and of computerised maintenance management systems. Along with being IT literate you’ll have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and proposals clearly; plus an understanding of modern problem-solving techniques and knowledge of lean manufacturing systems.
You’ll also need a flexible approach to your working hour as we operate five shifts per week, on a 3-week rotating pattern with the following shift times: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am.
