Join us as Merchandising & Marketing Assistant and you’ll become part of the Magnet Family.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of the Merchandising Team, working within our wider Marketing Department. The department supports our three brands – Magnet, Magnet Trade & Magnet Contract Kitchen Solutions. 
You will support our sales network primarily in areas relating to our product range, but also supporting with brand/digital marketing activity on occasion. 
The role involves interacting with store colleagues on day-to-day queries to help win sales, setting up and maintaining correct product information on all of our systems, assisting our merchandising and marketing managers with tasks such as briefing brochures and price guides.
In time, there is scope within the role to contribute towards the development of our product categories – helping with ranging, pricing and competitor analysis.
  
How you will qualify for the role

You’ll have exposure to developing product ranges either in employment, or within a Marketing or Business related degree. 
As you’ll be supporting our stores closely, you’ll have a strong desire to help others and excellent communication skills. 
You will take ownership and pride in your areas of responsibility – working to a high stand and taking advantage of opportunities to improve things.  
In the role, you will have support from the wider team, but you must be comfortable to work independently, be self-motivated and be able to prioritise your own work load.
