We have an opportunity for either a SAP EWM Functional or Junior Functional Consultant in Morley, West Yorkshire.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the SAP Competency Centre Logistics Manager you’ll deliver best in class SAP Warehousing solutions across our Supply Chain and take either a lead or support role in the design and blueprinting of solution design along with Application Architects.
You’ll be an integral part of our SAP change management process and shape and develop our SAP landscape using the most up to date SAP technologies to ensure our UK, Nordic and Central European businesses can grow and maximise efficiency.
You’ll liaise with other team members within the SAP Competency Centre to maintain and apply coherent, optimised, integrated, and standardised processes and share technical knowledge.
You’ll make sure new business needs are proactively supported and get involved in requirement gathering, developing scopes of work and writing functional specification documents. It’s also up to you to coordinate and produce all documents necessary to complete unit, system, QA, regression and end user testing; including the development of use cases, test plans and defect tracking.
How you will qualify for the role
You’ll have either previous SAP EWM consulting experience over multiple project lifecycles or SAP project experience preferably in a Warehousing/Logistics environment and be used to coordinating and leading workshops/requirements gathering sessions.
You’ll need a good understanding of standard EWM configuration and how to apply this across all areas of EWM including Inbound/Outbound and internal processes. For the junior role a more basic level of understanding would be considered but you must be dedicated to developing your own SAP warehousing skills through training, mentoring and learning.
Functional experience of SD/FI/MM/PP is desirable and S/4 HANA embedded EWM and SAP best practice experience is also desirable, but not essential. You should be able to demonstrate a dynamic approach to problem solving and solutioning and the ability to manage a demanding workload.
What you’ll get in return
You’ll discover a rewarding team environment, excellent career and development opportunities and a competitive salary and benefits package.
