Join us as a Purchase Ledger Team Lead and you’ll become part of the leading kitchen specialist in Europe.
What you’ll be doing

You’ll be instrumental to the day to day running of the Purchase Ledger department; leading a small team of Purchase Ledger Clerks to ensure action is taken on reconciling statements in line with company policy and being the main point of contact for escalating queries. Being hands-on you’ll proactively manage a number of suppliers including processing all invoices in a timely and accurate manner ensuring we achieve KPI’s whilst establishing and maintaining close working relationships with the purchasing department, key suppliers, business unit finance teams and other key stakeholders. You’ll manage a small team reporting on performance and current status of suppliers. Working closely with the Purchase Ledger Manager you’ll review your team’s performance against agreed KPI’s and agreeing areas for improvement and recognising success. You’ll review weekly payment runs, manual payment requests and approve FI invoices and drive continuous improvement within the team to achieve the best use of our systems. 

How you will qualify for the role

With around 13,000 invoices processed by the team each month it’s essential that you can work fast whilst ensuring your work is accurate. You could already have experience supervising/managing a team or maybe you’re ready for that next step. You must have experience of using an ERP system and even better if you have used SAP, you’ll be doing a lot of reporting too and working daily with Microsoft Word and Excel, we’ll expect you to be proficient and be able to do V-Look ups and Pivot tables. You’ll be able to communicate well within the team, motivate them and present your work and ideas clearly and accurately.
