Join us in this brand-new role within our People & Culture team as a Transformation Programme Lead and you’ll be responsible for making sure our People plan is designed, managed, and delivered.  This role could be based from our offices in either Darlington or Leeds.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll deliver change through programme management and coordination of initiatives and deliverables and utilise your HR knowledge and experience to take the lead on projects or initiatives as necessary or input/advise on other people streams and activity.  You’ll prepare content for project workstreams and liaise with workstream members to ensure a momentum of work is maintained.

You’ll develop and maintain a tangible people journey plan and communication process, drive programme delivery, and exercise independent initiative to overcome obstacles and deal with uncertainty.  You’ll also make sure appropriate controls and reporting are in place and maintain an outcomes and customer focus in relation to project delivery.

How you will qualify for the role

You’ll have proven experience in HR Programme Management, as well as HR Operations and Development and strong prioritisation, organisation and time management abilities.  You’ll need highly effective “team” skills which promote an environment of co-operation and trust, and overcome any resistance when encountered.

As a well organised multi-tasker with both a strategic and hands-on approach, you’ll have excellent communication, presentation, networking and collaboration skills and be comfortable in challenging the status quo and influencing change.  You’ll be creative and innovative with great attention to detail and highly proficient in the use of the main Microsoft packages (especially PowerPoint).
