Join us as a Digital Graphic/Web Designer and you’ll get the opportunity to create amazing user experiences across all our digital platforms.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll produce digital graphic design work in line with our brand identities and complete all visual design stages, from concept to final hand-off to development.  This will involve working alongside the UX designer to create engaging customer-facing website content such as home and landing pages and designing emails including marketing, transactional and on site; enhancing the digital experience wherever possible.

Working to timelines specified in creative briefs and making sure deadlines are met you’ll conceptualise original page and website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to the customer journey.  You’ll also establish and promote brand guidelines, best practices & standards and present designs and deliverables to the wider team and when needed work on other areas & projects.

How you will qualify for the role

Qualified to degree level in Design, Visual Arts or a relevant field you’ll already have proven experience as a Web Designer in a similar industry. You’ll have demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio, and solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards and user flows.

You’ll be proficient in the use Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools and basic HTML skills are beneficial.  You’ll be up to date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies and you should have a creative, imaginative and effective approach to problem solving.

It’s going to be helpful if you can demonstrate a genuine interest in and experience of home improvement and you’ll have great attention to detail combined with excellent communication and time-management skills.  You’ll also need to be a good team player who’s always happy to help and support others to get the job done.
