Join us in this new role as a Product Owner and you’ll have autonomy to implement your ideas and have a direct impact on our digital transformation journey and the success of the Magnet brand.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into the Head of Digital Transformation you’ll collaborate with commercial, marketing and technology leads to define and agree the digital product vision and own the creation, management, prioritisation and delivery of the product roadmap.
You’ll absorb every part of the target customer journey with a goal of ensuring that the product is always perfectly optimised to deliver the best possible experience for target segments whilst also maximising the revenue generating opportunities.
You’ll identify customer problems, determine what products can be developed to solve these problems and provide value to customers that drive increased revenue and then work closely with developers and designers to make sure the products and services delivered meet the needs of the target audience.
You’ll instil a relentless focus on improving digital product features across all customer touchpoints using data to drive decisions and constantly challenge existing customer experiences and show a desire to reinvent the Magnet customer journey plus evaluate and restate the product vision, mission and features for each customer segment to reflect an evolving brand positioning and target customer market.
How you will qualify for the role
You’ll have proven experience of taking full ownership of a product roadmap, can identify with and have a genuine passion for connecting with customers to truly understand them. You’ll be in tune with marketing, with a focus on goal optimisation and customer journeys, and have a keen understanding of user experience management principles.
With previous experience in an online customer facing business and likely some exposure to big-ticket retail purchases, you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to lead multiple workstreams with successful delivery and your exposure to and understanding of research principles.
Analytically capable, you’ll be familiar and comfortable with dealing with large data sets and able to draw actionable insights from them as well as an ability to balance the tactical with the strategic; recognising the day-to-day trading needs of the business and balancing them with the long-term vision.
You’ll also have had exposure to and a keen interest in the latest technology trends with the ability to easily communicate with and understand developers.
