Our Supply Chain Planning team are going through a period of growth, and we are looking for a UK Store Inventory Manager to join us on this journey to lead, inspire and motivate our new team.  

This role can be based in Leeds or Darlington. If based in Leeds frequent travel to Darlington will be expected. 

What you’ll be doing

Leading, inspiring and motivating a new team you’ll ensure optimum stock levels and availability are maintained across our Magnet store network. You’ll be accountable for the overall stock value/levels held in our store network with a full understanding as to why it’s at that level; along with agreeing stock profile requirements for our Magnet Contracts Division and ensuring availability of stock for all our customers. You’ll minimise stock write off by highlighting slow moving stock and by utilising stock around our store network, also reviewing range/product entry and exit processes with our Commercial, Go to Market and Central Supply teams you’ll influence and support decisions on the introductions of skus and clearance activities. 

How you will qualify for the role

It is essential that you have experience within Supply Chain at management level with a track record of delivering results and the ability to build effective relationships and influence decisions. You’ll be confident presenting to the senior management team including presenting on KPI’s, risks and resolution activities. You’ll have an analytical mindset and able to identify patterns and trends along with experience of using Microsoft Office and SAP (beneficial). You’ll be a natural leader, being able to inspire, lead and motivate a team.
