Join us as a Logistics/Transport Assistant and you’ll become part the leading kitchen specialist in Europe. 
 
What you’ll be doing

Reporting into the UK Distribution Manager you’ll be involved in all aspects of the Nobia UK transport, distribution and warehouse operations. You’ll interact and work alongside our 3rd party logistic providers, the UK logistics teams, UK supply operations and commercial teams. 
You’ll monitor and manage current business KPI’s with the view to suggesting and setting up new KPI’s to ensure our 3PL providers, carriers and any other transport organisations used by the business abide by their relevant Service Level Agreements. You’ll organise and manage scheduled collections and deliveries between business units and sites, ensuring service levels are maintained and we use the most cost effective route and investigating any delivery related problems. 

How you will qualify for the role

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a busy transport and logistics environment with good geographical knowledge of the UK and an understanding of route planning.  You’ll have a good understanding of drivers’ hour’s regulations, WTD and EU Transport legislation and how they impact an operation. You’ll be open to change and use to working in a fast-paced Supply Chain Operation. You’ll be able to work as part of a larger team with excellent interpersonal skills, have good attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll be proficient user of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (preferably SAP EWM).
