Join us as a Purchasing Assistant and you’ll complete and maintain purchase orders for goods, materials, and supplies.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you’ll complete and maintain purchase orders for goods, materials, and supplies. You’ll work closely with relevant departments to submit orders, oversee shipping schedules and maintain purchase records.  You will assist in maintaining supplier relations in line with KPI’s and the Group strategy for procurement. Supporting the Purchasing Manager in maintaining contractual SLAs with key suppliers and assisting in reducing procurement risk. Ensuring that the supply chain and procurement processes are maintained and in accordance with the Group Compliance Policies and Procedures.

How you qualify for the role 

  • Have experience in a buying/procurement role and stock control.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Administrative experience
  • Analytical in nature with strong IT skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A quick learner who can adapt to changing situations quickly
